To expand employees’ access to healthcare and insurance, Cebu Technological University (CTU) convened eight health maintenance organizations (HMOs) today, enabling employees to choose one provider that suits their needs.
This effort is by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) directive on the grant of medical allowance, โThe Medical Allowance, in the amount not exceeding P7,000 per annum, shall be given to each qualified civilian government personnel as a subsidy to avail of health maintenance organization (HMO)-type benefits.”
