To finalize the university’s five-year strategic plan and drive institutional growth, key stakeholders of Cebu Technological University (CTU) convened on June 5 to 6, 2025, at a hotel in Mandaue City, Cebu.

Headed by CTU President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito, the meeting builds upon initial discussions held on June 2 to 4, and seeks to finalize institutional strategies and impactful initiatives, ensuring alignment with CTU’s vision, mission, goals, and objectives.

The two-day discussion revolved around finalizing strategic goals and priorities for 2025-2029 based on the outcomes of the consultation sessions, validating sectoral alignment, key programs, projects, and activities (PPAS), as well as establishing concrete timelines, accountability mechanisms, and implementation indicators.

Key officials and personnel engaged in collaborative talks, prioritizing strategic initiatives in academics, research, extension, production and resource generation, infrastructure, and good governance. Officials further fortified their commitment and joint efforts in planning and executing CTU’s five-year strategic plan.

Present in the meeting were the vice presidents, namely Dr. Reylan G. Capuno, Dr. Romeo P. Montecillo, Dr. Rosein A. Ancheta Jr., Dr. Pet Roey L. Pascual, and Dr. Ramel C. Genobiagon, as well as Dr. Adrian P. Ybaรฑez, Presidential Assistant for World University Rankings.

Campus directors, university directors, and HRMO personnel, among other key officials and personnel, were also in attendance.
