Bacolod City, Philippines – May 22-23, 2025 — Faculty members from various campuses of Cebu Technological University (CTU) actively participated in the 15th PAFTE Midyear Convention held at the University of St. La Salle, Bacolod City. The event focused on the theme: “Leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Enhanced Efficiency and Effectiveness in Curriculum and Instruction, Research, and School Management.”

The convention brought together educators and academic leaders from across the country to explore the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in education. Discussions highlighted AI’s growing role in improving instructional delivery, advancing research capabilities, and strengthening administrative systems in academic institutions.

CTU’s participation was made possible through the support and encouragement of SUC IV President Dr. Joseph Pepito, whose leadership continues to champion faculty development and engagement in national academic initiatives.

This involvement underscores CTU’s commitment to innovation and its forward-thinking approach to education. By joining conversations on emerging technologies like AI, CTU reinforces its role in shaping a future-ready and globally competitive academic environment.
