To uphold institutional growth and overall efficiency, CTU Main Campus non-teaching staff convened for the ‘Non-Teaching Conference 2025,’ held from June 23 to 25, 2025, at a resort in Lapu-Lapu City.

The annual event aims to empower non-teaching personnel by promoting a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and innovation that aligns with the university’s vision, mission, and strategic goals.

The day one session focused on the budget forum led by Chief Administrative Officer for Finance Dr. Emma R. Sacan, who stressed the importance of transparency and accountability in financial management for university operations and transactions. Discussions on the policy on supply and driver acquisition were headed by Supply and Management Property Officer Ms. Jennifer V. Enriquez, while Engr. Antonieto F. Pacayra discussed RA 12009, or the New Government Procurement Act of 2025.

CTU President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito, along with the Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Ramel C. Genobiagon, OIC CAO for Administration Dr. Amelia Girly L. Aranas, and CTU-Main Campus Director Dr. Gregorio P. Pajaron Jr. attended the first day, expressing full support for the non-teaching staff’s professional growth and pledging commitment to nurturing a culture of excellence and inclusivity.

The three-day conference also featured key speakers, including Mr. Marc Clint A. Maceda, M.A., RPsy, RPm, a licensed psychologist and psychometrician, who provided a lecture and workshop on ‘Cultivating Psychological Safety in the Workplace.’ Meanwhile, CTU-Main GAD Director Engr. Teresita Capin, highlighted the importance of gender equality and inclusivity in building a supportive work environment at CTU. Further, Dr. Jana Gloria F. Almerino, SADOF-HRMO IV, presented the updates on Human Resource (HR) developments.

The conference also featured a fun-filled wellness program with dance performances and engaging activities. This year’s event carries the theme “Empowering Excellence: Advancing Core Values and Gender Equity in Transformative Education,” underlining the crucial role of non-teaching personnel in propelling institutional progress and fostering inclusive education.
