Seventeen student interns from Cebu Technological University (CTU) are gearing up for their international internship at a hotel in Hong Kong, having attended a Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar held on Saturday, June 28, at Function Hall A, Centennial Building, CTU Main Campus.
The student interns’ departure for their international internship is scheduled for July 7, 2025. They are from the following programs: Bachelor of Industrial Technology major in Food Technology, Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM), and BS in Tourism Management (BSTM), across CTU’s campuses in Carmen, Daanbantayan, Danao, Main, and Tuburan.
During the seminar, resource speaker Dr. Adalbert Alcaide discussed proper etiquette and protocol, logistics and travel arrangements, safety and emergency procedures, networking opportunities, and internship expectations and responsibilities, among others.
The event was attended by the Student Internship Abroad Program (SIAP) chairs from the aforementioned campuses, parents of the student interns, and guests.
