Committed to delivering quality education services, CTU Main and CTU Moalboal participate in a three-day accreditation survey visit by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc., held at the CebuTech gymnasium and via online meeting from July 7 to July 9, 2025.

The accreditation centers on CTU Main’s three programs: Bachelor of Science in Graphics and Design (Level III Phase 2 Revisit all Areas); Master of Technology and Vocational Education with a major in Home Economics and Technology (Level IV Phase 2); and Master in Education (Level IV Phase 2).

Meanwhile, the accreditation for CTU Moalboal campus focuses on 2 programs: BS in Hospitality Management (Level III Phase 2 Revisit all Areas) and Bachelor of Industrial Technology with majors in Drafting Tech., Electronic Tech., and Welding and Fabrication Tech (Level III Phase 2).

Dr. Carlo T. Nabo of Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) and Dr. Rodolfo B. Burac, Jr., of Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology (DEBESMSCAT) serve as overall coordinators.

During today’s opening program, CTU key officials, headed by University President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito, reaffirmed their steadfast commitment to advancing the quality of education by complying with the standards of the accreditation.

Led by Dr. Nabo and Dr. Burac, the AACCUP survey team comprised team leaders, lead accreditors, and a librarian from various institutions: LSPU, PartidoSU, SiqC, PamSU, BPSU, CavSU, ISATU, and IfSU.

Campus directors Dr. Gregorio P. Pajaron Jr. of CTU Main and Dr. Charmaine P. Antecristo of CTU Moalboal participated in this event, along with the deans, QA chairpersons, local task force, UD for Quality Assurance Dr. Meralei J. Lawas, VP for Student Affairs Dr. Romeo P. Montecillo, and VP for Academic Affairs Dr. Reylan G. Capuno.

The accreditation will resume tomorrow, July 8, and conclude on July 9, 2025.
