Daanbantayan, Cebu โ July 23, 2025 โ Cebu Technological University (CTU) Daanbantayan Campus hosted a courtesy call at 2:00 PM at the Office of the Campus Director, in honor of 18 Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management students set to begin their international internships in Hong Kong and Thailand for Academic Year 2025โ2026.
This send-off event, led by Campus Director Dr. Ruben M. Ungui, highlights CTUโs continued commitment to global education and student development. Interns will be deployed to prestigious hospitality institutions including The Langham Hong Kong, Marriott Ocean Park Hotel, Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Royal Orchid Sheraton Bangkok, and Centara Mirage Grand Beach Resort Pattaya. They will take on key roles in Food and Beverage Service, Housekeeping, Kitchen, Pastry, and Front Office departments.
The initiative is made possible through the strong support of CTU leaders such as Prof. Felixberto T. Lucabon Jr., Dr. Nikkithea L. Beduya, Dr. Louvella Christianne A. Gulle, and other faculty. The program is headed by Dr. Tracy L. Mantos, Director of the Student Internship Abroad Program (SIAP), in partnership with Adapper Management Consultancy, led by Dr. Adalbert Alcaide.
This international deployment reflects CTUโs dedication to producing globally competitive graduates through immersive, real-world trainingโempowering students to gain cross-cultural skills and thrive in the global hospitality industry.
