𝗖𝗧𝗨 𝗗𝗮𝗮𝗻𝗯𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗴

Cebu, Philippines | July 21, 2025 — A moment of pride and celebration marked the departure of three student interns from Cebu Technological University-Daanbantayan Campus as they officially embarked on their international internship journey to The Langham, Hong Kong.

Christine Anne Austria and Aljean Dalut of CTU Daanbantayan Campus, along with Johnnabel Bausin of CTU Bantayan Extension Campus, were given a heartfelt send-off by their families, mentors, and supporters at Mactan–Cebu International Airport. This emotional farewell marked the beginning of a transformative six-month experience that will immerse them in world-class hospitality training.

The send-off was made possible through the strong support of the CTU administration, led by Campus Director Dr. Ruben M. Ungui, Dean of Instruction Prof. Felixberto T. Lucabon Jr., and Program Chair Prof. Girlie Fariola, with close coordination from Dr. Tracy L. Mantos, Director of the Student Internship Abroad Program.

Also instrumental in making this deployment possible is Adapper Management Consultancy, under the leadership of Dr. Adalbert Alcaide, whose continued collaboration with CTU helps create international career pathways for students.

This milestone represents more than a personal achievement for the interns; it highlights CTU Daanbantayan’s growing commitment to internationalization, global competence, and industry-aligned education. The send-off event stands as a proud moment for the students, their families, and the entire CTU community, reinforcing the university’s mission to prepare globally competitive professionals ready to excel in cross-cultural workplaces.
