In a bid to ensure quality standards in education, CTU Main’s Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering program, under the College of Engineering (COE), undertakes an onsite validation visit by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) today, July 25, 2025.

The validation results indicate that the BSCE program is recommended for issuance of a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC), underscoring its adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Members of the CHED technical committee comprise Engr. Ricardo L. Fornis, National Technical Panel for Civil Engineering Program, and Dr. Leonardo R. Tanael Jr., Education Supervisor II for Engineering and Technology from CHED RO-7.

Present during the validation are COE Dean Dr. Joecyn N. Archival, Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Ramel C. Genobiagon, and CTU Main Campus Director Dr. Gregorio P. Pajaron Jr., as well as COE faculty, among others.

This positive outcome sets the BSCE program on track for accreditation and recognition.
