To expand its international linkages for student internship programs, CTU formally established a partnership with Ryokan Tamagoyu CO., Ltd of Japan through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at the President’s Conference Room this morning.
Pursuant to the MOA, the role of the host company is to “accept interns who are recommended by the University and to offer guidance and support during the period of the program in Japan.” Meanwhile, CTU will “share the purpose and significance for Internship with Interns and to provide pre-Internship guidance and training.”
Additionally, the student interns would immerse themselves in traditional Japanese culture, manners, and Japanese business etiquette, and gain industry experiences that boost their career prospects.
Present at the MOA signing were representatives from Ryokan Tamagoyu and CTU officials, including the Vice President for Administration and Finance, who represented the University President, Executive Assistant IV, CTU Main Campus Director, Dean of CME, OIC-UD of Internationalization and ASEAN Integration, and the chairs of the Tourism Management and Hospitality Management departments, among others.
Aside from Japan’s commitment to global collaboration in education, culture, business, and global development, this partnership also seeks to deepen friendship between the two countries.
