Cebu Technological University (CTU) successfully conducted the University-Wide Production, Extension, and Resource Generation (PERG) Budget Forum for fiscal year 2026 on July 28 to 29, 2025, at a hotel in Cebu City.
Highlights of the forum included the comprehensive presentation of PERGโs priorities, targets, and operational plan for 2026. Participants engaged in detailed discussions on procurement concerns, financial planning, and expenditure management.
The discussion further centered on mainstreaming of gender and development (GAD) principles in PERG planning and budget attribution, reinforcing the universityโs commitment to inclusive and equitable programming.
The forum was attended by key university officials, including Dr. Rosein A. Ancheta Jr., Vice President for PERG; Assoc. Prof. Nicolas Antigua, Extension Chairperson; Dr. Joseph C. Pepito, University President, represented by Atty. Lauron Lanotan; Dr. Emma R. Sacan, Chief Administrative Officer for Finance; Dr. Mary Jane Sim, University GAD Director; and Mr. Antonieto F. Pacayra, Procurement Management Officer.
Also present were PERG Chairpersons, faculty, and staff from various CTU campuses, who actively contributed to the planning discussions.
The forum provided a vital platform for aligning campus plans with institutional goals. With the active participation of PERG Chairpersons and key stakeholders, CTU reinforces its commitment to transparency, innovation, and impactful planning.
