Cebu Technological University (CTU) attended the investiture of University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU)’s 5th Chancellor, Dr. Joane V. Serrano, on July 30, 2025, at the UPOU International Convention Center (ICC), Los Baรฑos, Laguna.
Representing University President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito was CTU Danao Campus Director Dr. Rosemary L. Almacen. She said, “The Investiture was a resounding success, hitting all the right notes: solemn in its gravity, simple in its elegance, and snappy in its execution. Dr. Almacen added, “And it’s wonderful that she delivered a very nice message of acceptance, adding a truly personal and meaningful touch to the occasion.”
The event brought together key officials and representatives from state universities and colleges (SUCs), UPOU officials, university professors, and other stakeholders, among others.
