The College of Technology (COT) at CTU-Main Campus engaged in collaborative talks with the 6R Group of Companies, underscoring a forthcoming partnership in education, innovation, and community-driven initiatives, held on July 25, 2025.

This alliance signifies a shared commitment to pursuing impactful initiatives, especially in the fields of Mechatronics, for future research collaboration, and Automotive Technology, for possible OJT deployment.

The 6R Group of Companies is represented by Mr. Rolo B. Cena, Deputy Chief Operating Officer/ Director for Org. and HR Development. Meanwhile, COT is led by Dr. Janice A. Alivio, Dean of COT; Dr. Romeo P. Montecillo, VP for Student Affairs; Dr. Paul K. Zabala, Chairperson for Mechatronics; Prof. Jeffrey Dela Calzada, Chairperson for Automotive Technology; and Dr. Meralei J. Lawas, UD for Quality Assurance.

Together, both parties will work on programs that support specific focus areasโ€”education, research, training, development, and sustainability โ€”to deliver lasting benefits to stakeholders and the broader community.
