To revamp its curriculum for academic excellence and accreditation, the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) Department of Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT) in Palompon, Leyte, engaged in a benchmarking session with CTU on July 16, 2025.

PIT sought to acquire CTU’s top approaches in curriculum design, instruction, research, and extension services for Business Administration programs. Also, the visit aimed to align PIT’s BSBA curriculum with evolving industry needs and higher education standards.

The PIT delegation consisted of BSBA faculty members, namely Dr. Leo Roswald M. Tugonon, Mr. Sansino Rian Guanzon, Ms. Anchessa A. Derecho, Ms. Jessyl Adlawan, and Ms. Lovely Panchacala. Meanwhile, CTU representatives were led by chief administrative officer for Administration and Finance/College of Management and Entrepreneurship (CME) dean Dr. Amelia Girly L. Aranas.

The discussions between CTU and PIT yielded a productive dialogue and collaborative talks on upcoming opportunities for faculty exchanges and joint academic and research ventures.
