As a CTU Board of Regents member, Senator Alan Peter Cayetano visited CTU and held meaningful discussions with university stakeholders today, showcasing his firm commitment to ‘quality and accessible’ higher education and supporting CTU’s drive for institutional growth.
Aiming to improve students’ overall experience, Sen. Cayetano met with CTU scholars and leaders to gather firsthand insights into their concerns and challenges regarding the student body and extend his support.
Along with CTU President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito, the Senator toured CTU’s innovative technologies and laboratories at the Mechatronics Building, where he showcased one of the students’ inventions during his live on social media and received a laser-engraved photo from the student innovators.
CTU vice presidents and campus directors held collaborative talks as well with the Senator, focusing on the accomplishments, awards, challenges, and projects requiring government support.
CTU BOR member Hon. Jacqueline Claudine U. Roble, Roble Shipping Company President and CEO Mr. Jose Emery Roble, department heads, deans, faculty, non-teaching staff, president of the CTU Alumni Federation Association, and Federation of Student Governments (FSG) officials also participated in this event.
