Cebu Technological University-Naga Extension Campus, under the leadership of Campus Director Atty. Marvey A. Ocampo, underwent monitoring activities for its GAA-funded research and extension projects conducted by the research and extension teams today, July 3, 2025.
The monitoring visit aims to ensure effective implementation and alignment of GAA-funded research and extension projects with the universityโs vision of creating innovative and community-responsive programs.
The visit was led by Dr. Rosein A. Ancheta Jr., Vice President for Production, Extension, and Resource Generation, along with members of the Extension and Research teams. Representing the Extension team were Ms. Angel Marie P. Pasaje and Ms. Shajara Serate, while the Research team was composed of Ms. Christine Mondragon, OIC-University Director for Research and Development, Ms. Irene A. Monte, and Ms. Mary Ann Grace G. Otic.
For 2025, CTUโNaga is implementing three General Appropriations Act (GAA)-funded research projects:
- Echoing the Narratives of First-Generation University Students by Dr. Roselyn T. Bustos
- Climate Adaptation in the Classroom from the Teachersโ Narratives by Dr. Roselyn T. Bustos
- Assessing Information and Digital Literacy among Out-of-School Youth in Selected Far-Flung Barangays: Basis for Establishing an Info Digital Library by Dr. Glenn A. Trinidad
True to its mission as a community-oriented campus, CTU Naga is also rolling out five extension projects this year.
These initiatives underscore the CTU Naga’s commitment to advancing high-impact research and meaningful extension programs that foster local partnerships and contribute to sustained economic development.
