Positioning itself as a flagship institution for highโimpact digital transformation, Cebu Technological University’s Human Resource Management Office has rolled out a bold digitalization initiative designed to equip personnel with critical skills for a technology-driven future.
From August 18 to 22, participants from across campuses gathered for the ‘Human Resource In Action: Meeting Orientation On Digitalization’ activity, which focused on human resource management, digital transformation, standards and compliance, organizational efficiency, transparency, accountability, and innovation in the workplace.
Participants split into two groups: Batchโฏ1 from Argao, Barili, Carmen, Daanbantayan, Danao, Moalboal, and Pinamungajan; Batchโฏ2 from Main, CCMSC, Consolacion, SanโฏFrancisco, and Tuburan โ joining forces for the full rollout of CTUโs Human Resource Information System (HRIS), built to streamline and sharpen the universityโs operations.
Keynote speaker Mr. Wilven B. Lanit talked on leveraging digital tools and data-driven strategies to modernize HR processes, enhance service delivery, and align institutional practices with global digital frameworks.
In handsโon sessions, participants gained practical skills in workplace digitalization, modernizing workflows and processes, and accelerating smarter outcomes.
The five-day workshop on digitalization gave CTU a powerful edge in an era of rapid technological change โ driving lasting benefits for its stakeholders and the community by boosting operational efficiency, accountability, and upholding transparency.
