Cebu Technological Universityโs Quality Assurance Office facilitates a three-day Institutional Accreditation (IA) Portal Simulation workshop from August 18 to 20, 2025, at the QA Conference Room, CTU-Main Campus.
The activity is led by University Director for Quality Assurance Dr. Meralei J. Lawas and CTU-Main Campus Director Dr. Gregorio P. Pajaron Jr., along with the members of the AACCUP institutional accreditation task force (IATF) committee and the universityโs internal accreditors, who actively participate in the workshop.
Day 1 sessions focus on simulating document uploading in the IA portal, facilitated by Mr. Gil Piramide, Information Technology Officer II, where participants are familiarized with the retrieval, organization, and proper management of accreditation documents.
This is followed by a discussion from Dr. Cecilio S. Baga, Overall Coordinator of the CTUโs IATF, on the functions of each accreditation area, which include governance and management; teaching and learning; faculty and staff; research; extension and linkages; student support; library; infrastructure and resources; and quality assurance culture.
The three-day endeavor reflects the universityโs commitment to academic excellence and quality assurance, gearing up for the 2025 AACCUP institutional accreditation.
