In a move to promote inclusive and accessible education, Cebu Technological University (CTU) and Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) formalized a strategic partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing on September 8.
The agreement outlines both institutions’ commitment to sharing academic resources, including walk-in library access, interlibrary lending, electronic document delivery, and free online access to digital materials.
All services will be offered at no cost, reflecting a shared vision to break down barriers in higher education.
SLSU President Jude A. Duarte and CTU President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito led the signing, joined by SLSU Vice President for Student and Auxiliary Services Dr. Marie Khul C. Langub, SLSU Director of Learning Commons and Library Services Ms. Geanrose L. Colonia, CTU Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Reylan G. Capuno, and CTU University Librarian Ms. Morena E. Carlos.
The partnership sets a strong example of how academic institutions can collaborate to expand access to knowledge, foster inclusion, and champion education for all.
