Cebu Technological University (CTU) Main Campus proudly celebrates another milestone as its Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics students clinched second place at the prestigious National Robotics Competition held at the Science Centre Singapore on September 13, 2025.
Representing CTU under the SMORPHI Pilot (Senior) Category, the team was composed of Dianne Librando, Kurt Louise Uy, Isaiah Lorenz Grafilo, and Marie Angel Serohejos, guided by Prof. Jay Lester G. Radam and Prof. Orlando J. Padal, with the full support of University President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito.
This remarkable accomplishment underscores CTU’s position as a globally competitive institution, proving that its robotics programs and student expertise can excel well beyond national borders.
It also marks history as the first institution from Cebu to participate in this prestigious competition, emerging triumphant against top universities from around the world.
Beyond the medal, this triumph reflects CTU’s enduring commitment to innovation, excellence and determination, bringing pride to Cebu and the Philippines on the international stage.
