Dr. Lanndon A. Ocampo, a distinguished professor from Cebu Technological University (CTU), has once again earned a spot among the Top 2% most-cited Scientists Worldwide, according to Stanford University’s August 2025 update, establishing a six-year record of global scientific distinction.
Boosting the Philippines’ global research profile, Dr. Ocampo ranks 10th place among Filipino scientists based on single recent year data and holds the No. 1 spot nationwide in the subfields of Business & Management and Operations Research.
Notably, he leads the Center for Applied Mathematics and Operations Research (CAMOR) at CTU and has been recognized by Stanford as one of the World’s Top 2% most-cited scientists for six consecutive years, from 2020 to 2025.
Stanford University’s Top 2% World Scientists list for 2025 honors researchers globally for their outstanding influence and impact in their fields, based on Scopus citation metrics and author profiles.
These include total citations, h-index, co-authorship-adjusted h-index, citations based on authorship position, and a composite indicator meant to reflect overall research impact across disciplines.
