PCW recognizes CTU for outstanding GAD Budget Policy in 2024

Cebu Technological University (CTU) has been recognized by the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) as one of the top-performing agencies in 2024 for its outstanding implementation and utilization of the Gender and Development (GAD) Budget Policy, expanding gender-focused programs across the university.

CTU, one of the State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in the Philippines, has secured top rankings in three key categories:

Rank 4: SUCs with Highest Client-Focused Allocation
Rank 5: SUCs with Highest Org-Focused Allocation
Rank 6: SUCs with Highest GAD Budget Expenditures

Dr. Mary Jane M. Sim, the GAD University Director, proudly accepted the award during today’s ceremony at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria in Quezon City, where it was personally conferred by PCW Chairperson Ermelita V. Valdeavilla.

This recognition signals a key breakthrough for CTU as it continues to lead with purpose and integrity in the national push for gender-responsive governance and women’s empowerment at all levels across the country.
