ACCREDITATION UPDATE: The multi-campus evaluation for Level IV Phase 2 and Level III Phase 2 programs across five Cebu Technological University (CTU) campuses has officially concluded, signaling the institution’s push for top-tier accreditation status.
Held virtually from October 8 to 10, the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. assessed CTU’s ongoing compliance with national quality standards in higher education.
The five campuses and their respective programs under review were:
Level IV Phase 2
CTU MAIN
• Bachelor of Elementary Education
CTU TUBURAN
• Bachelor of Elementary Education
• Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education major in Home Economics
Level III Phase 2
CTU ARGAO
• Master of Arts in Education major in Administration and Supervision
CTU CARMEN
• Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education major in Home Economics
CTU SAN FRANCISCO- Revisit Research
• Bachelor of Elementary Education
The survey team was led by Dr. Jaime M. Forbes and Dr. Ronie G. Torres, Overall Coordinators. Accreditors, campus directors, and University Director for Quality Assurance Dr. Meralei J. Lawas attended the online accreditation, which concluded on October 10 at 2 PM.
CTU’s commitment to quality education and progressive development took center stage during the closing program.
