Cebu Technological University–Dumanjug Extension Campus proudly emerged as champion in the 2025 National Civil Engineering Quiz, held on October 6 at the GT Toyota Asian Center, University of the Philippines Diliman.
The winning duo, Samantha Jyne Oraga and John Lester Ferrer, both Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) students, showcased exceptional knowledge and teamwork under the guidance of their coach, Engr. John Renel Capillanes, Chairperson of the BSCE Department.
In honor of their success, the team received a ₱60,000 cash prize and a 100% Free Board Review and Refresher Course from Review Innovations.
Earlier today, the champions, together with their coach and Campus Director Dr. Rolito T. Imperial, paid a courtesy visit to University President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito. The visit celebrated their remarkable success and underscored the university’s unwavering support for its students.
This national triumph strengthens CTU’s reputation as a hub of engineering excellence and a training ground for future leaders in the profession.
