CTU Main’s NSTP, UESO launch 1st wave of Earthquake Relief for Northern Cebu

In a decisive show of leadership and service, Cebu Technological University (CTU) Main Campus, through its National Service Training Program (NSTP) Office and University Extension Services Office (UESO), mobilized its first wave of relief operations on October 11 to 12, extending emergency relief to quake-hit areas across Northern Cebu.

The operation ‘Tabang gikan sa Sugbo para sa mga Sugbuanon’ reached nearly 200 beneficiaries across CTU campuses: CTU Daanbantayan, CTU Tabogon Extension, CTU Tabuelan Extension, and CTU San Remigio Extension.

Relief packs included food, bottled water, hygiene kits, feminine care items, clothing, blankets, mosquito repellents, essentials for children and the elderly, and monetary support.

The operation was powered by student volunteers, NSTP instructors, and Supreme Student Council (CWTS & LTS), Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC), UESO staff, CTU Main’s Multipurpose Cooperative, College of Computer, Information, and Communications Technology (CCICT), College of Management and Entrepreneurship (CME), with additional support from anonymous donors.

Fueled by a spirit of service and unity, the university continues to provide support where it matters most.
