In line with its commitment to boost quality assurance and operational standards, Cebu Technological University (CTU) Naga Extension Campus conducted its ISO 9001:2015 Internal Quality Audit (IQA) on September 24, bringing together administrators, faculty, and staff in a unified effort toward continuous improvement.
The audit, led by IQA Team Leader Dr. Rogelio C. Sala Jr., focused on evaluating instructional delivery and identifying areas for enhancement. Dr. Sala set the tone for the day’s proceedings, framing the audit not only as a compliance check, but as a strategic opportunity to fortify systems and operations and foster growth as a unified campus community.
Faculty members from the College of Education and College of Technology—headed respectively by Dr. Sheila Marie C. Lopez and Ms. Maria Christina A. Flores—served as auditees, representing the academic core of the campus. In her opening message, Campus Director Atty. Marvey A. Ocampo emphasized unity, continuous improvement, and the campus’ shared responsibility in upholding CTU’s standard of excellence.
Throughout the audit proper, chairs and faculty engaged in active dialogue, presenting processes, accomplishments, and ongoing improvements. Auditors offered constructive feedback, commending the campus for its transparency and collaborative efforts while providing recommendations to sustain and boost current strengths.
During the closing program, the auditors praised CTU Naga’s openness and commitment to quality assurance, while Atty. Ocampo expressed gratitude to everyone and reaffirmed the campus’s mission of excellence in instruction, research, and extension.
The audit advanced CTU Naga’s quality journey and showcased its culture of excellence, reinforcing institutional bonds and its role as a university grounded in integrity, collaboration, and sustained growth.
