CTU holds coordination meeting on Post-Quake Campus Inspection

Following the recent 6.9-magnitude earthquake that hit Northern Cebu, Cebu Technological University (CTU) maintains its proactive stance in ensuring facility safety and resilience through a coordination meeting on the Evaluation of the Aftermath of the Earthquake Damages in CTU Campuses, held on October 7, at the Holding Room, Gymnatorium, CTU Main Campus.

Presided over by CTU President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito, and held in coordination with the University Director and staff of the Planning and Development Office, the meeting gathered campus directors and technical personnel from across campuses to assess the university’s current condition and chart the path forward.

Discussions focused on updates to structural and damage inspection reports, including the estimated costs of damages sustained across CTU campuses. Each campus provided a status update, identifying priority areas for rehabilitation and outlining the support needed for recovery.

President Pepito emphasized the importance of coordinated action and accurate reporting to guide the university’s decision-making process and ensure the continuity of academic and administrative operations in a safe learning environment, reaffirming CTU’s commitment to resilience and the welfare of its community.
