In pursuit of quality assurance and academic excellence, five campuses of Cebu Technological University (CTU) successfully completed their accreditation survey visit on November 28, conducted by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).
The five-day evaluation covered various academic programs across CTU Main Campus, Cebu City Mountain Satellite Campus (CCMSC), CTU Danao, CTU Pinamungajan, and CTU San Francisco.
In the closing ceremony, the five campuses pledged their commitment to upholding quality education and ensuring that their programs remain responsive to students and communities.
Dr. Edwin B. Andaya, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at CTU Main Campus, expressed his commitment to achieving and maintaining accreditation standards and assured that CTU Main is united in its efforts to meet challenges, uphold excellence at all times, and provide quality education to clients and students.
CCMSC Campus Director Dr. Patrobinson M. Salumag, emphasized the institution’s dedication to continuous improvement and excellence as it moves forward with the findings from the AACCUP survey visit of its two programs.
“Your insights and observations have provided us with a clear strategic pathway to strengthen our programs, further aligning them with the highest standards of quality and relevance,” Dr. Patrobinson said.
Meanwhile, CTU Danao Campus Director Dr. Rose Mary L. Almacen, represented by Dean of Instruction Dr. Jose Marie Anoos, underscored the campus’s dedication to continuous improvement and responsiveness to accreditation standards.

Dr. Redgie D. Arcadio, Campus Director of Pinamungajan Campus, highlighted the institution’s commitment to inclusivity, improvement, and excellence, as well as the vital role of the campus in uplifting students and the community.
“Many of our students come from low‑income families, and our campus has become a place of hope and opportunity for them, their parents, and the community,” Dr. Arcadio affirmed.
“We will work hard to improve our programs, strengthen our services, and provide the quality education that our students truly deserve. We will continue to rise, to grow, and to serve our students, our community, and all our stakeholders with unwavering commitment and purpose,” he added.
Dr. Jonita V. Literatus, Campus Director of San Francisco Campus, emphasized that in the continuous quest for quality and excellence in education, the campus reaffirms its commitment to consistently and sustainably uphold the highest standards of service for its clientele.
In his closing remarks, Dr. Mario Rebucas Jr., Campus QA Chairperson at CTU Main, stressed the institution’s pursuit of quality and excellence in education.
“May this not be the culmination of our inputs, but rather the beginning of meaningful steps toward continually improving our programs for the benefit of our students, communities, and all our stakeholders. Together, let us keep soaring until CTU becomes a truly premier university,” Dr. Rebucas said.
The five-day accreditation featured overall coordinators for the campuses: Dr. Reynaldo T. Gelido (CTU Main and CCMSC), Dr. Arrianne Michelle F. Fabro (CTU Danao), Dr. Eunice B. Custodio (CTU Pinamungajan), and Dr. Erwin D. Dumagpi (CTU San Francisco).
