ACCREDITATION UPDATE | CTU programs undergo AACCUP Accreditation Survey Visit

To advance institutional excellence and credibility, Cebu Technological University (CTU) is undergoing an Accreditation Survey Visit by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), scheduled for November 24–28, 2025.

This initiative underscores CTU’s dedication to upholding rigorous quality assurance standards across all academic and institutional endeavors.

The survey covers multiple programs across CTU campuses:

Main Campus (Level I): Bachelor of Arts in Literature, Batsilyer ng Sining sa Filipino, and Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Cebu City Mountain Satellite Campus (Level I): Bachelor of Industrial Technology major in Computer Technology and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture major in Horticulture.

Danao Campus (Level II): Doctor of Education major in Educational Management and Development and Master of Technology and Vocational Education major in Home Economics Technology.

Danao Campus (Level I): Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English, Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies, and Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management.

Pinamungajan Campus (Level I): Bachelor of Elementary Education; Bachelor of Industrial Technology (Civil Technology, Drafting Technology, Interior Design Technology, Welding and Fabrication Technology, Electrical Technology, Electronics Technology); Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education major in Home Economics; Bachelor of Technology in Vocational and Teacher Education major in Civil and Construction Technology; and Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management

San Francisco Campus (Level I): Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Science, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, and Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management.

Participating in the opening program were CTU President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito, represented by Executive Assistant IV Atty. Rodmarc P. Sanchez, along with the campus directors, QA chairpersons, college deans, and the AACCUP survey and local task force teams.

The accreditation is led by the Office of Quality Assurance, headed by University Director Dr. Meralei J. Lawas. It also highlighted the overall coordinators for five campuses: Dr. Reynaldo T. Gelido (CTU Main and CCMSC), Dr. Arrianne Michelle F. Fabro (CTU Danao), Dr. Eunice B. Custodio (CTU Pinamungajan), and Dr. Erwin D. Dumagpi (CTU San Francisco).

Through this accreditation process, CTU reaffirms its commitment to delivering high-quality academic programs that consistently serve the needs of its students and the communities it empowers.
