Daffodil International University (DIU) and Cebu Technological University (CTU) inked a strategic mobility partnership on November 5th during the QS Asia Pacific 2025 conference.
As a QS World-ranked institution, DIU announced a comprehensive student exchange program granting CTU students full tuition, board, and lodging waivers for an entire semester of study in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Dr. Rhodora Magan, CTU Director of Internationalization and ASEAN Integration, sought clarification during the discussion, noting that the arrangement went beyond the usual tuition-only waiver. However, DIU Founder and Chairman Dr. Md. Sabur Khan confirmed his strong commitment to supporting CTU’s global initiatives.
The partnership took shape swiftly—beginning with an initial meeting outside the QS venue that revealed Dr. Khan’s keen interest in welcoming CTU into DIU’s international network, followed by a second meeting that led to the formal signing of the agreement on the third day.
The QS Asia Pacific 2025 event concluded on a high note, marking a promising new phase in CTU–DIU relations. CTU President Dr. Pepito, alongside CTU Vice President Dr. Ramel Genobiagon and Dr. Magan also attended Dr. Khan’s breakout session, where he shared insights on the evolving nature of internationalization and the shifting dynamics of higher education in the era of artificial intelligence (AI)./Internationalization and ASEAN Integration
