CTU MAIN ADVISORY | Classes resume on November 12 in Hybrid setup

Classes at Cebu Technological University (CTU) Main Campus will resume on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, after a temporary suspension due to Typhoons Tino and Uwan.

In a memorandum issued by Dr. Gregorio Pajaron Jr., CTU Main Campus Director, instruction will proceed in a hybrid setup to ensure continuity of learning while considering post-typhoon recovery conditions.

Under the directive, lecture classes shall be conducted in a hybrid modality, consisting of 50% online sessions—either synchronous or asynchronous at the discretion of the instructor—and 50% in-person sessions, which will follow the regular classroom schedule and applicable safety protocols. Specific arrangements for each class will be announced by the respective College Deans.

Meanwhile, laboratory classes will be conducted entirely in-person, with detailed schedules to be coordinated by the College Deans and Academic Chairpersons.

Faculty members are directed to plan and communicate their class modalities in advance to ensure a smooth transition between online and on-site sessions.

Students, on the other hand, are reminded to regularly monitor official announcements from their instructors and colleges for guidance and updates.

The hybrid resumption plan underscores CTU Main Campus’s continued commitment to academic continuity and student welfare amid challenges brought by recent weather disturbances.

The rest of the CTU community is also advised to stay updated through official campus announcements, as class and work arrangements may differ based on local conditions.
