GLOBAL ENGAGEMENTS | CTU Expands Transnational Education with Australia’s Alana Kaye College

Cebu Technological University (CTU) takes a major step in global education by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Australia’s Alana Kaye College (AKC) today, November 11, aimed at expanding transnational learning opportunities for students and faculty.

The MOU strengthens CTU’s international collaborations and creates pathways for transnational education, enabling students and faculty to benefit from cross-border academic programs, staff exchanges, and joint research initiatives.

CTU was represented by President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito and Dr. Rhodora Magan, Director for Internationalization and ASEAN Integration, while Alana Kaye College was represented by CEO Ms. Alana Kaye-Anderson and Mr. Arvin Alcantara, Director of International Operations.

Dr. Pepito expressed optimism about the collaboration, emphasizing that the partnership reflects CTU’s commitment to enhancing international engagement and academic excellence.

Meanwhile, Ms. Kaye-Anderson expressed excitement about the collaboration, noting that the initiative will foster educational and cultural exchanges between the Philippines and Australia, creating broader learning experiences for students and staff alike.

As CTU marks its 16th university anniversary this year, the partnership underscores a shared vision for innovation, global cooperation, and inclusive education, strengthening its role as a leader in international education.
