CTU advances quality standards through three-day accreditation visit Cebu Technological University (CTU), in its continuing pursuit of academic excellence, underwent a multi-campus accreditation visit by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. from December 9 to 11.
CTU Argao Campus took part in the Level III Phase 2 accreditation for its Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology majors in Automotive, Computer, Electronics, Drafting, and Garments Technology.
Meanwhile, evaluators assessed CTU Moalboal Campus for Level III Phase 2 accreditation of the Doctor of Education in Educational Management and Development and the Master in Technology and Vocational Education, major in Home Economics.
The accreditation visit at CTU Main Campus focused on the Level IV Phase 2 evaluation of the Bachelor of Industrial Technology, covering majors in Automotive, Civil, Computer, Drafting, Garments, Electronics, Electrical, Cosmetology, Machine Shop, Power Plant, Interior Design, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning, Furniture and Cabinet Making, Welding Fabrication, and Food Preparation and Service Technology.
Dr. Rodolfo B. Burac of Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology (DEBESMSCAT) served as the Overall Coordinator of the accreditation visit. The Office of Quality Assurance, led by University Director Dr. Meralei J. Lawas, facilitated the accreditation visit.
Among those who took part in the three-day evaluation were Dr. Janice A. Alivio, Dean of the College of Technology (Main Campus); Dr. Eingelbert C. Benolirao, CTU Argao Campus Director; Dr. Charmaine P. Antecristo, CTU Moalboal Campus Director; and Dr. Imelda J. Villarin, CTU Main Campus Dean of Instruction.
The accreditation highlights the institution’s dedication to academic excellence and ongoing advancement in higher education.
