ACCREDITATION UPDATE | CTU Main, CTU Barili complete accreditation survey visit

Cebu Technological University (CTU) successfully concluded its three‑day accreditation survey visit on Friday, December 5, with both the Main and Barili campuses undergoing extensive evaluations across multiple academic programs.

Led by the Office of the Quality Assurance, the undertaking upheld quality standards, enhanced academic programs, and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to excellence in higher education. It covered the following academic programs:

CTU Main Campus

Level IV Phase 2: Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering

Level III Phase 2: Master of Arts in Education, majors in English Teaching, Filipino Teaching, Teaching Biology, Teaching Social Studies, and Teaching Science

Level III Phase 2 Revisit (All Areas): Bachelor in Public Administration and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management

CTU Barili Campus

Level IV Phase 2 Revisit (All Areas): Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, majors in Agronomy, Horticulture, Animal Production, Crop Protection, and Agricultural Economics, along with the Bachelor of Elementary Education

Level III Phase 2: Master of Science in Animal Science, Master of Science in Horticulture, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

The program concluded with the synthesis of evaluation results, presented by CTU overall coordinators Dr. Carlo T. Nabo (Main Campus) and Dr. Jaime M. Forbes (Barili Campus), who stressed key insights, achievements, and areas for improvement.

CTU officials pledged their commitment to advancing education, research, and institutional excellence, affirmed by Dr. Raymond C. Espina, Dean of the College of Education, Main Campus; Dr. Joecyn N. Archival, Dean of the College of Engineering, Main Campus; Dr. Amelia Girly L. Aranas, Dean of the College of Management and Entrepreneurship, Main Campus; and Dr. Romeo C. Lepiten, Campus Director of CTU Barili Campus.

On behalf of Dr. Nolasco K. Malabago, Dean of the Graduate School, Main Campus, University Director for Quality Assurance, Dr. Meralei J. Lawas, delivered the closing remarks, highlighting CTU’s commitment to ensuring quality standards across its academic programs.
