To enhance public service delivery, the College of Computer, Information and Communications Technology (CCICT) at Cebu Technological University (CTU) Main Campus successfully implemented its extension project, “Barangay Kalunasan Profiling Information System (BKPIS) Training: Empowering the Public Service Workforce,” held from August 22 to October 3, 2025.
The initiative sought to upskill barangay staff in using the newly implemented Barangay Management Information System through interactive, hands-on workshops.
CTU Main-CCICT’s BKPIS training centered on practical applications directly aligned with BKPIS profiling and reporting workflows.
Key competencies highlighted were data entry accuracy, document import/export processes, and document preparation for official barangay documentation.
Project Leader Dr. Bell S. Campanilla spearheaded the initiative, with active participation from faculty and students of the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program under CCICT.
