CTU Main–COED implements ARAL Phase 2 for AGAK volunteers

To further strengthen the teaching skills of volunteers from the AGAK (Ato Gugma Alang sa Kabataan) Foundation at San Roque Parish, Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City, the College of Education at Cebu Technological University’s Main Campus successfully implemented ARAL Phase 2 (Alternative, Relevant, and Active Learning).

The 48-hour face-to-face training focused on classroom management, digital literacy, and inclusive teaching practices, equipping AGAK volunteers with practical skills through hands-on activities and classroom simulations.

Conducted from May to November 2025, the project was led by Dr. Harlene Marie A. Gamboa and Prof. Adrian D. Duites, with support from faculty members in the College of Education, as well as graduate and undergraduate students.

Through its continued partnership with the AGAK Foundation, ARAL Phase 2 reflects CTU’s commitment to quality education and community empowerment, in line with Sustainable Development Goals 4 (Quality Education) and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
