Dr. Pet Roey L. Pascual, Vice President for Research and Development (VPR&D), has been formally designated as Transitory Officer-in-Charge (OIC) in the Office of the University President, effective immediately, through Secretary’s Certificate Resolution No. 124, Series of 2025, issued by the Board of Regents.
The appointment was approved during the Fourth Quarter Regular Meeting held on December 11, 2025.
Dr. Pascual will concurrently serve as Vice President for Research and Development, while also overseeing the Office of the University President to ensure administrative and operational continuity. His authority and responsibilities as Transitory OIC are vested by the Board of Regents, as outlined in the Secretary’s Certificate Resolution.
He shall hold the position until the next Board of Regents meeting, subject to the Board’s discretion.
