CTU academic to parse translation of Cebuano heritage at int’l dialog

Joining international experts next week, CTU Main academic Dr. Christian Ray Licen is sharing his passion on “Translation as Remembrance: The Strategies and Challenges in Translating Juan Villagonzalo’s Walay Igsoon (Without a Brother).”

His critique of how the Cebuano piece is making its way to readers through translation is a must-see.

The event is jointly organized by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Technical Education Development (SEAMEO TED) and the China-ASEAN Technical Education Cooperation Platform (CATECP).
