Cebu Technological University hosts the Visayas leg of the public consultation of the Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD), for the presentation of the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of the Virology and Vaccine Institute of the Philippines Act (Republic Act No. 12290) at the CTU Gymnatorium today, January 12.
The consultation convened participants from the public and private sectors, national agencies, and state universities and colleges, as part of DOST’s stakeholder consultations to ensure the effective implementation of RA 12290.
The IRR is presented section by section, outlining provisions for the effective implementation of the law establishing the Virology and Vaccine Institute of the Philippines. A panel of DOST officials and experts addresses questions and clarifications from attendees after each section.
