GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT | Hanbat University marks day 1 of cross-comm at CTU

Following last year’s confirmation on Hanbat University (HNBU) delegation’s visit, the South Korean group of teaching and non-teaching staff fulfilled the first stop today at Cebu Technological University (CTU) Main for a north-bound cross cultural caravan that culminates on Friday.

Students and staff from the technology and education departments were tapped today. More departments are joining in the next two sites.

Initially organized to cover CTU’s 10 major campuses, the event was clipped by HBNU to allow only a few host campuses for the sustainability-oriented interactions.

Students and faculty from non-host campuses are required to attend the nearest venue, e.g. San Francisco is joining Danao tomorrow; Tuburan and Daanbantayan are joining Carmen on Wednesday, due to the visitors’ limited timeframe.

The southern base will have an equally interactive cultural dialogue in the second quarter to balance the University’s global positionality scorecard, said Internationalization and ASEAN Integration Director Dr. Rhodora Magan.

HBNU briefly hosted CTU a couple of months back. The present reciprocal gesture is one of the many paradigms in the list to stabilize the link, since the agreement’s renewal in 2024./IAI
