Cebu Technological University (CTU) opened its two-day university-wide selection for the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) Regional Culture and the Arts Festival (RCAF) 2026, gathering student-artists from across its campuses at CTU Main for a showcase of talent and cultural excellence.
Facilitated by the Office of the University Director for Culture and the Arts, the two-day university-wide selection features competitions in visual, music, literary, and dance categories, as well as the Mr. & Ms. PASUC 2026 screening.
Visual Arts competitions opened the day with painting, charcoal rendering, on-the-spot poster making, and a campus photo contest. Literary Arts followed, featuring entries in Tagalog and English, alongside written works and dramatic arts.
Day one concluded with the music competitions, which presented instrumental entries in the morning and a Live Band (Pinoy Disco) performance in the afternoon.
Organized by PASUC, the RCAF brings together students from state universities and colleges (SUCs) to celebrate and preserve Filipino culture and the arts through competitions in music, dance, visual arts, literature, and theater.
This year’s theme, ‘Pagpasidungog sa Kabilin, sa Kultura ug Bahandi’ (Honoring Our Cultural Heritage and Treasures), reinforces cultural identity and highlights the multifaceted artistry of students from SUCs nationwide.
