The Internationalization and ASEAN Integration (IAI) Team carried out the second leg of the scholarship campaign at the northern campus in Danao, in partnership with Okayama University and the Japan Consulate in Cebu. The initiative continues to sculpt Cebu Technological University’s internationalization posture.
Similar to the earlier session in Argao, the event, Danao IAI Chair Dr. Edralin General hosted, highlighted study opportunities in the “Land of the Rising Sun” and collaborative prospects between CTU and Japanese institutions.
Students and staff from campuses in Daanbantayan , Carmen and Consolacion joined to maximize the information drive, alongside IAI Chairs Asst. Prof. Gypsy Capuno (Carmen) and Jovissa Bacusmo (Consolacion).
The campaign will conclude with its final leg tomorrow at CTU Main, with more than 50 participants already registered ahead of the session. As the central base hosts the largest constituency, the IAI team hopes to generate more outbound mobility applications within the year for a Japanese lifeway experience.
CTU and the Japan Consulate in Cebu have intensified their institutional engagements since August of last year, further strengthening collaborative momentum toward a more dynamic academic community./IAI
