Israelis to join AI  crash course at CTU

Western Galilee College students have confirmed their attendance at a bespoke Artificial Intelligence (AI) crash course at CTU this August.

The AI-focused design articulates CTU’s  objective of contributing knowledge to and learning from Israel—recognized globally as the “Startup Nation”—to enrich its own research and innovation ecosystem.

The delegation is set for a multi-campus itinerary, which translates to knowledge exchange reaching the widest possible audience across CTU’s extensive network of more than 20 campuses.

Accompanying the group is Dr. Carmit Gal, who will leverage her visit to deliver lectures at the university and serve as keynote speaker during the upcoming ASEAN event in August.

In a recent meeting with CTU Internationalization and ASEAN Integration Director Dr. Rhodora Magan and  Dr. Gal, the latter shared the students’ excitement  to experience the immersive platform. She  also noted that  WGC’s  president  readily greenlighted the mobility a few weeks ago.

Dr. Magan, in a statement to ICPA, shared how the upcoming interaction would bolster CTU’s international inbound metrics and reinforce its vision as a key player in Southeast Asia, where AI-related guidelines have yet to take a concrete shape.

Further, as part of the university’s  longstanding partnership with WGC since 2022, the rare undertaking would crystallize the university’s take on global positioning, Dr. Magan added./IAI
