Okayama scholarship campaign reaches final leg at CTU Main

Curating its global positioning drive, the Internationalization and ASEAN Integration (IAI) Team had the last stop of the Japanese scholarship drive at Cebu Technological University (CTU) Main.

Following successful sessions in Argao and Danao, Okayama University’s Eri Sakaguchi and Japan Consulate’s Renato Vingno streamlined expanded academic opportunities to the central base’s five colleges —-engineering, technology, education, arts and sciences, and information and communications technology.

Non-host IAI chairs Dr. Vincent Borres, Dr. Tracy Mantos, Cheryl Dorog, and Michelle Montemayor led the delegations from campuses in San Francisco, Daanbantayan,Tuburan, and CCMSC, respectively. Pinamungahan students and staff also joined.

In a statement, Vingno ensured that CTU and OU will have more cooperative platforms in the coming days. The consulate has been consistent in scaffolding CTU’s goals, particularly introducing institutions to CTU and providing efficient processing of travel documents for its outbound mobilities.

The IAI TEAM is expected to follow up on prospective applicants to bolster CTU’s outbound mechanism—one of the key indicators for world rankings.

Interested students and staff are encouraged to send their outbound mobility intent to iai@ctu.edu.ph./IAI
