CHED evaluates CTU scholarship, GAD programs

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region VII conducted an on-site monitoring and evaluation visit at Cebu Technological University (CTU)-Main Campus’ Student Affairs Services (SAS) Office on March 6.

The visit covered Gender and Development (GAD), Gender-Based Sexual Harassment (GBSH), and scholarship programs under the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong Dunong Program (TDP).

Project Technical Staff II Kate Marie F. Mosqueda and Charlene R. Sanico led the monitoring visit. Engr. Teresita Capin submitted compliance documents for the GAD and GBSH programs. Meanwhile, Campus Scholarship Coordinator Janet A. Saragena, together with her staff, presented all required documents in accordance with the Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST) Monitoring Tool.

After the presentations, CHED Region VII evaluated the Scholarship Office’s workstations, filing system, and essential equipment to ensure efficiency in processing TES and TDP transactions.

The assessment affirmed CTU’s commitment to providing accessible and well-managed student services that ensure academic support while upholding institutional accountability.
