Assoc. Prof. Dr. Christian Ray Licen has been selected as part of the 3rd cohort of the highly competitive Naveen Jindal Young Global Research Fellowship, a one-year program with a two-month fully funded residency from June 2026 to June 2027, at O.P. Jindal Global University in Haryana, India.
The former College of Arts and Sciences dean, along with fellows from higher education institutions around the world, is expected to publish at least one paper in a Scopus-indexed journal, participate in conferences/academic activities and immerse in cultural routes.
Currently on its third year, the fellowship supports early-career researchers by providing opportunities to advance their work in a global academic environment.
Dr. Licen and other CTU academics from Danao and Barili are expected to arrive in India on June 8th or 9th. Their stint in the subcontinent speaks to their alliance with the university’s global trajectory in research and innovation.
In a statement, the university internationalization leadership said the recognition reflects its commitment to calibrating partnership with India’s top private higher education institution established in 2022./IAI
