Advancing environmental responsibility and women’s empowerment, Cebu Technological University (CTU) Main Campus mobilizes its community—comprising employees and students—through the “Eco Warrior in Action: Celebrating Women’s Month through Waste Awareness” initiative on March 16, highlighting solid waste management and gender-based safety.
The event was led by CTU Main’s Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the Pollution and Control Office (PCO), in collaboration with Gender and Development (GAD) and the Civil Service Unit (CSU).
Engr. Alan Dinampo, President of CCCA, discussed the impact of improper solid waste disposal, while Dr. Leoncio T. Lucero Jr. of CTU explained gender-based safety.
The seminar underscores CTU Main Campus’s commitment to environmental sustainability and women’s empowerment as part of its Women’s Month celebration, led by the GAD Office under the leadership of Engr. Teresita B. Capin.
