CTU Main empowers 700 scholars through TES, TDP orientation

Aimed at boosting financial literacy and reinforcing scholarship rules, Cebu Technological University–Main Campus, together with its extension campuses, successfully held the Orientation for the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) for about 700 scholars at the CTU Main Gymnasium on January 23, 2026.

Organized by the Scholarship Office, the financial wellness session and reorientation gathered about 700 new and continuing grantees under the Unified Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST).

Financial advisor Mr. John Paul Gerald S. Cutillar led the financial wellness segment. Meanwhile, the program orientation resource speakers included representatives from the Commission on Higher Education–Regional Office VII (CHEDRO 7): Ms. Melissa L. Castillote, Ms. Charlene R. Sanico, Ms. Jemma I. Ruta, and Ms. Liwayway S. Feliciano.

The event aimed to enhance financial literacy, reinforce scholarship policies, and promote responsible use of subsidies for sustained success.
