CTU Main hosts DAP for BAGANI Program orientation

Cebu Technological University – Main Campus recently welcomed representatives from the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) for a courtesy visit and orientation on the BAGANI: Rising Leaders Development Program (RLDP), a national initiative that empowers young Filipino leaders.

The event was organized by the Office of the Student Affairs, led by Dr. Romeo P. Montecillo, Vice President for Student Affairs, and Archt. Ann Frances P. Cabigon, Student Affairs and Services Dean.

The activity gathered officers from the Federation of Student Governments (FSG), the Supreme Student Government (SSG), and various student organizations.

Representatives from the DAP included Marites D. Solomon, Program Director; Tala Ysabel dela Peña, BAGANI Fellowship Manager; and Associate Project Officers Mark Christian Simbajon and John Roel Gonzaga, who encouraged student leaders to participate in and support the initiative.

Before conducting the orientation at CN Hall on the 6th Floor of the Centennial Building, representatives from DAP paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Campus Director, Dr. Gregorio Pajaron Jr., to introduce the BAGANI program and its leadership development initiatives.

The activity strengthened CTU’s partnership with DAP in promoting youth leadership and developing service-oriented student leaders.
