To equip the future graduates with essential skills, Cebu Technological University–Main Campus conducted a pre-employment seminar on March 13 in partnership with Jobs180.com, Inc.
Titled “MARKETING ME: Marketing Yourself Effectively,” the activity introduced practical strategies on how students can present themselves confidently and professionally during the job application process.
The event was organized by the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs under Dr. Romeo P. Montecillo and facilitated by Donnavelle T. Mantos, Associate Secretary and Vocational Placement Coordinator II.
Serving as resource speakers were Franklin Augusto Barrameda, Senior Vice President for Operations and Cebu Hub Leader of Synchrony Global Services Philippines Inc., and Kim Chua, Managing Director of Jobs180.com, Inc.. They shared valuable insights on career preparation, professional development, and real-world industry expectations.
The session imparted tips on job applications using ResumeLink, observing professional composure, and mastering effective interview techniques.
